Last updated: 15/07/2024
Bee Interview Ready (the site uses “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy sets out how we use and protect any information that you give Bee Interview Ready.
Bee Interview Ready may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page regularly to ensure that you are happy with any changes.
This Privacy Policy includes two main sections:
About Your Personal Data – Types of data collected or used, including when, how, and why.
Your Rights – Ways you can control how your data is used.
We collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide in other ways for internal record-keeping and feedback purposes.
When you make an enquiry
When you contact us, we retain your name, contact details, and the content of your messages for three reasons:
By your consent
As part of a ‘contract’ (only while we communicate)
For legitimate business interests – for good business practice I keep tabs on who has made contact before, the types of questions asked etc
When you submit an enquiry via our website, we use your name and email address to communicate with you about our products and services as requested.
When you make an online purchase
When you make a single online purchase, it forms a contract for services. We manage your contact details, purchase history, and payment details (received from Stripe) based on consent, contract, and legitimate reasons. We retain these details for six years beyond the contract's end for legal reasons, such as accounting laws.
When you work with me 1:1
Client work is different. Depending on the work, you may wish (or need) to provide personal details of a sensitive nature.
As an intake form these are retained in printed or handwritten format and include your contact details and where appropriate, signature. The sensitive nature of such documents will generally be in relation to your applications/CV/recruitment letters.
As session notes these are memos handwritten by me for the purpose of fulfilling our contract and keeping tabs on the work during the session and from one week to the next, filed separately with only initials and date as identifiers so that no other person may connect these details alone to your personal identity.
In both cases I am required by law to retain these records for six years after the completion of our contract – or in the case of a minor, from six years beyond the date of their eighteenth birthday.
Your privacy is important to us. We will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties without your permission or unless required by law. If you believe any information we hold is incorrect or incomplete, please email us at Debz@beeinterviewready.com. We will promptly correct any inaccuracies.
In accordance with UK confidentiality laws, we may breach confidentiality to inform authorities (such as the police or your GP) in cases of impending harm or illegality.
